Review – Strong Enough to Love by Victoria Dahl

Strong Enough to LoveBlurb
USA TODAY bestselling author Victoria Dahl delivers sassy and sexy contemporary romance in a new series set in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Get a taste with this novella, Strong Enough to Love….

Photographer Eve Hill was completely comfortable being single. Or at the very least, she was completely resigned to it. There was only one man who made every nerve in her body and brain light up when he walked into a room. But Brian Stewart had always been off limits. Hell, she’d never even kissed him!

For Brian, returning to Jackson Hole feels like coming home. But that has nothing to do with the town. It’s Eve drawing him back. Eve and the chance to finally see if they have something or if it’s all been in his imagination.

Eve doesn’t think she can open her heart to Brian again after getting hurt so badly before, though her body still wants him. She offers Brian one night to fulfill their long-denied fantasies, and that’s it. No love or promises, just a chance to get their attraction out of their systems. But can one night really be enough?

Return to Jackson Hole for more steamy romance by Victoria Dahl in Close Enough to Touch, Too Hot to Handle and So Tough to Tame.

Thoughts
Warning – this is a short novella (914 locations on a kindle). For such a short read, I feel like the author drew me into Jackson Hole and made me want to stay there and learn more about the other residents as well. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the Jackson Hole series.

Ms. Dahl did second chance love very well with this book. I loved that the heroine didn’t just welcome back the hero with open arms that he had to work for it. He deserved to have to work for it after how he left the first time. Beautifully written and very compelling.?

Review – Double Down by Katie Porter

Double DownBlurb
Desire as reckless as a fighter jet in freefall…and just as dangerous.

As part of the 64th Aggressor Squadron, Major Ryan “Fang” Haverty flies like the enemy to teach Allied pilots how not to die. The glittering excess of the Strip can’t compare to the glowing jet engines of his F-16. But a sexy, redheaded waitress in seamed stockings? Now “she” gets his blood pumping.

Cassandra Whitman’s good-girl ways haven’t earned any slack from her manager ex-boyfriend, or prevented a bad case of frazzle from holding down two and a half jobs. She sure wouldn’t mind letting the handsome Southern charmer shake up her routine.

Their wild weekend lives up to Sin City’s reputation. Especially when they discover a matched passion for roleplaying. For Cass, it’s an exciting departure from her normal, shy persona. But for Ryan, it triggers memories of a time when his fetish drove away the woman he loved-leaving him reluctant to risk a repeat performance.

Except Cass refuses to settle for ordinary ever again. She’s about to show the man with hair-trigger hands that she’s got a few surprise moves of her own.

Thoughts
A beautiful beginning to what seems like an amazing series. I always love to read romance novels featuring our military men. They are truly heroes. Double Down was well-written and executed beautifully. The story shows us what love is all about. Give and take, trying to make yourself better for the one you love.

Ryan is scared to admit to his fantasies because of being rejected for them in the worst way. Clare is scared to stand up for herself and do what makes her happy in her life. Clare forces Ryan to see nothing is wrong with his fantasies and Ryan pushes Clare to make her dreams become a reality. The sad thing is they almost loose each other doing that.

I was so glad that Jon and Leah pushed Ryan to go to Clare’s show. I didn’t know if he would ever get his head out of his ass and go on his own.

Review – No Knight Needed by Stephanie Rowe

No Knight NeededBlurb

Broad shoulders silhouetted in the night. Strong arms anchoring her against a powerful chest. A modern-day knight in shining armor on a stormy mountainside… Who has time for that kind of fantasy? Not Clare Gray, that’s for sure. The plucky single mom is a little too busy to dream about turbulent dark eyes brimming with intensity, and sensual kisses that ignite her soul. But when Boston business mogul Griffin Friese steps out of his black truck on the abandoned mountain road and helps Clare rescue her daughter from a deadly Maine storm, her well-ordered world implodes.

Suddenly, Clare finds herself having fantasies about tender loving and hot passion with the mysterious stranger with the rain-slicked jacket and the angel painted on the roof of his truck. The midnight encounter awakens yearnings in Clare that are far too dangerous to explore, but when she learns that her heroic knight is staying in town for a few days, he becomes a reality she can’t deny. She’s already barely surviving, so how can she risk her heart with a man who threatens everything she believes in?

NOTE: No Knight Needed was originally published under the title Dawn at Birch Crossing. Book Two of the Ever After series, Fairytale Not Required, is an entirely new release and will available December 2012.

Thoughts
Reading Between the Wines blog hosted Ms. Stephanie Rowe to feature the second book in this series, No Fairytale Required. They also did a giveaway. I hadn’t read the first book, so when I won, I requested the first book No Knight Needed. I am so glad I did. This book was amazing, and very emotional. Clare has been a single mother for fifteen years. She’s also been keeping a secret from everyone she loves that whole time. She has emotionally shut herself off from men after her first husband died in an automobile accident leaving her to raise their daughter alone at eighteen.

Griffin shows up at just the right time for Clare. He helps her rescue her daughter and her daughter’s friends from being stranded in a storm when Clare’s car won’t make it around a downed tree.

I really didn’t know if these two would ever get their shit together. Norm did the right thing in pushing Griffin. I think that helped him realize what he was leaving behind and what was really important. Every small town needs a Norm. I’m really going to miss him in the second book.

Ms. Rowe wrote this story beautifully. She shared the hero and heroines emotions so that you knew exactly how they felt and what they were going to feel next. I will definitely be reading the next book in this series and more books from this author in the future. Thanks for the awesome read Ms. Rowe.

Review – Fresh Temptation by Reeni Austin

Fresh TemptationBlurb
Victor Barboza is a man who has everything but a good woman.

Cara Green has a young son, three part-time jobs, and a few extra pounds.

Their worlds collide as Cara serves Victor at an upscale party in Manhattan, upsetting Victor’s ex-fiancee, Alexis, in the process.

Victor pursues Cara, but Cara is not sure of his intentions: Is he using her to make Alexis jealous? Does he just want her for sex? Or is love Victor’s true aim?

Thoughts
I purchased this book in December and forgot about it. I read about it when I noticed it was free and found out that I had already purchased it so, I decided I would read it. The blurb enticed me and wanted to see what it was about. I love romance series and hoped this would be another to add to my list that I’m following.

The beginning of the book drew me right in. A single mother, from rags-to-riches hot Latin male, what more could you want, right? I was loving the story and then the ending just kinda didn’t do it for me. It feels like I was there, all there, for the first week of the romance and then wth happened. All of sudden we were months down the road and no idea how we got there or what happened in between. I wanted to hear about the dating and long distance relationship. I wanted it all!

I liked this book, but really want a better ending.

Review – Rescued by the Rancher by Soraya Lane

Rescued by the RancherBlurb
Can anyone heal this rugged rancher’s broken heart?

Volunteer firefighter Jake McGregor can’t believe it when he arrives to the scene of a burning house, and finds out that someone in his small town has committed arson. When he looks into the frightened eyes of Faith Walker, he can’t imagine who would want to hurt her or her son, so why was the fire intentionally lit?

Faith has only been back in town a week, and already she’s wishing she’d never returned. Until handsome cowboy Jake rescues her and invites her to stay at his ranch, her old home town has been nothing short of unwelcoming. When she was sent away years ago, as a teenager and pregnant, she had hoped to never come back. Her dad turned his back on her, and she’d learned to fend for herself – the hard way.

Jake doesn’t particularly want a woman in his life, but he can’t turn Faith away. He’s been a bachelor since his fiancée died in a car crash five years before, and that’s how he wants to stay. Even if staying away from Faith starts to feel like the hardest task he’s ever endured…

Can anyone heal this rugged rancher’s broken heart?

Thoughts
I purchased this book from Amazon for free. I love cowboy romances, and I loved Montana Reunion by the same author, so I figured I would give it a try. Rescued by the Rancher was very well written. I just think everything fell into place too neatly for these two. I don’t understand how he went from not being able to look at her without it hurting to going to bed with her in one day.

Another thing that bothered me, the person who started the fire gets away with it? I don’t like that. Just threatening him is not enough. I don’t care who his family is. That’s ridiculous. What if they would’ve died. To me, this book had a lot of potential, I think there should have been more conflicts and the conflicts that were there, should’ve been worked out better. It’s like the book was rushed.

As I said this is a very well written book. Hardly any, if any, grammatical errors and the cover is smoking! I just wish I could’ve gotten more out of this story.

Review – Seven Night Stand my Nicole Helm

Seven Night StandBlurb
Reality TV scout Vivvy Marsh loves her job, but she’ll lose it if she doesn’t find a hit. When she’s sent to Kansas to scout a show, it looks like a bust…until she meets sexy pilot, Nate Harrington. His family would make the perfect show to save her career.

Nate can’t deny his attraction to Vivvy, but no way can he let this show take off. The Harrington family is riddled with secrets, and she wants it all out in the open. For the next seven days, he’s going to stop at nothing to keep her out of his family’s business, even if it means keeping her distracted in his bedroom.

Thoughts
Reading about this book on the Ex Libris blog, I decided I had to try it. When I was notified I won it, I said SCORE! Seven Night Stand sound like a fun read. I couldn’t wait to delve in and see how these opposites came together.

Seven Night Stand had some hilarious moments, some scorching moments (one storage closet scene that was yummy) and some emotional moments. Neither the hero nor the heroine wanted to commit. The heroine didn’t think she could “stick” to any relationship or town. The hero never had anyone “stick” to him. They just figured it would be seven nights of fun and hot and sweaty. Boy were they wrong.

The author spun the tale so you could understand how both the Nate and Vivvy felt. You completely understood their reticence in declaring their emotions, but you still wanted to whoop upside their heads. They were exactly what the other needed and fought it at every turn. Vivvy was very frustrating to me. Nate kept putting himself on the line, and she never did. She always took the easy way out. Well, right until the end. Then she put everything on the line and made me love her too.

Seven Night Stand was a story about how two very different people can make it work with love. It was pretty awesome!

Review – Brash by Nicola Marsh

BrashBlurb
Jess Harper is so tired of being good…

Thrust into the dazzle of Burlesque Bombshells, Vegas’s premier dance venue, the small town librarian has no option but to embrace her inner vixen.
Especially when blast from her past, sexy Aussie celebrity chef Jack McVeigh is still determined to keep their relationship strictly hands-off.

This time Jess isn’t surrendering without a fight and armed with her hot props and Bombshell moves, Jack doesn’t stand a chance.

When Jess and Jack are sequestered on an island to orchestrate the burlesque wedding of the year, sun, surf and sizzling sex are on the menu!

But will the fiery couple come back for seconds?

Thoughts
Jess and Jack both love each other, but neither feels that they are good enough for the other. Jess’ self-confidence took a beating when her ex-fiancé cheated on her and called her cold. Jack’s childhood left a lot to be desired. He never thought anyone would love him and stay.

Thrown together, after ten years apart, these two are busy planning a wedding. Jack is the caterer and Jess is the wedding planner. She’s also studying to be a seductress. And boy does her plan work.

This story was so fun, it was also embedded full of emotions. Jess puts it all on the line, telling Jack exactly what she feels. Once again, he crushes her heart. She doesn’t look back, just runs. Meanwhile, Jack is standing there frozen in pain. He can’t believe he’s so damn stupid. She loves him.

The fact that it took Jess running away, for the last time to make Jack realize what he had done, then and ten years ago was awesome. Men can be thick, as Adele says in the story. I can’t wait to read more of this hilarious upbeat series. Reid and Adele definitely deserve love. I can’t wait to figure out what has Adele so wary.

Review – Vampire in the City Series (Books 1 – 3) by Donna Ansari

Book 1: New Blood
New BloodBlurb
Emma Hammond is a normal young woman living in New York City whose life changes forever when one misstep brings her very close to death. Luckily, Alex Thompson, a handsome stranger (who also happens to be a vampire), jumps in to save her, turning Emma into a vampire. She quickly discovers the numerous advantages (no more allergies, glasses, or acne) and slight drawbacks (wanting to eat her boyfriend) of joining the ranks of the creatures of the night. But Emma soon finds out her new undead life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be when she gets pulled in to an age-old dispute between two feuding vampire clans.

Thoughts
I love series romances. Chicagoland Vampires is my favorite! I got an email about this book and for $.99 you can’t really beat that! I could find out if I liked the author’s writing style, if I liked the characters, plot and so on. Well, I loved it and immediately bought the next two books. I figured I would just make this one big review so you could get all the info you needed about the series here.

Emma is fun. I loved her character. I wasn’t too big on Tammy and definitely not Renee. I feel like all of her friends and boyfriend/ex-boyfriend use her. They do nothing for her. She just takes it. Once she’s a vampire, not so much. I loved that part.

Alex is the vampire she saved from a stabbing, or at least she thought she did. I really wanted to like Alex, but how could you believe a word out of his mouth. Everything he told her was a lie. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him. I hope he redeems himself in future books, because like I said, I really wanted to like him.

Emma just finds herself in mess after mess and now she’s in the middle of two warring Vampire leaders. Daniel saves the day. Then she meets James. I really don’t like this guy. He’s definitely another user. I just hope she realizes it before it’s too late. I can’t wait to finish the second book (which I’ve already started). I will be posting that review here as well.

Book 2: Wild  Blood
Wild BloodBlurb
Recently-turned vampire Emma Hammond is not only getting used to her undead lifestyle, but also to living with her new and unlikely roommates–her human best friend Tammy, and David, a werewolf. While the girls speculate as to possible drawbacks to having such a fuzzy tenant (shedding and marking of territory, to name a few), nothing will prepare them for the dispute that is to come between the NYC clan of vampires and an upwardly-mobile werewolf pack from the suburbs. Will Emma be able to get out of it with both her undead life, and her blossoming friendship with David, intact? And, perhaps more importantly, will she be able to choose between Alex Thompson, her sire and sometimes lover, and James, a slightly-unhinged vampire with a mysterious past?

Thoughts

Emma, newly turned vampire, gets into so much trouble. I swear it just follows her or finds her anyway. First, the Prince of Vampires wants her dead, then her werewolf roommate joins those ranks, and so why shouldn’t her vampire boyfriend/ex-boyfriend. Alex is trying to redeem himself, which I really like and hope we get more of in the next book.

Overall, this book was ok. I didn’t get into it as much as I did the first one. I think there was just too much going on. I mean, why does one girl need to have 2 different (warring) vampires after her as well as a whole pack of werewolves. The story didn’t keep me as invested as the first book either. I couldn’t put the first book down, but I did this one, several times. I hope the next book is better and that we see more of Alex. I really don’t like how Emma is just starting to sleep with whomever. It doesn’t really fit the character from the first book.

Book 3: Witch Blood
Wtich BloodBlurb
Vampire Emma Hammond and her best friend and roommate Tammy Torres have rarely had a disagreement, but that’s all about to change. Apart from hating each other’s boyfriends, the duo have more monumental problems to deal with, like controlling Emma’s growing and increasingly dangerous bloodlust and trying to get blood stains out of the carpets. And when new witch Tammy joins a coven whose leader’s lust for power knows no bounds, Emma is unwittingly pulled into their plan.

Thoughts

I just finished reading Witch Blood and it was much better than Wild Blood. I was so glad that it drew me back in. Emma doesn’t have problems with witches but she has a worse one with witches now. Amy is definitely going to be one to watch in upcoming books. Alex is coming around. I just hope it doesn’t take two years. I really want them to bet together. I think they would be perfect for each other.

I can’t wait until Cold Blood comes out. I hope it’s soon.  This series has peaked my interest. I want to see how Emma deals with all that becoming a vampire means in her life. I also want to see what happens with Ethan. That was left kind of open. Overall I really liked this book.

Review – Leashed (Going to the Dogs #1) by Zoe Dawson

LeashedBlurb
First book in the Going to the Dog series and is a short novella at 26,000 words.

Jack has some ‘splainin’ to do!

That’s right! Callie Lassiter’s normally well-behaved Great Dane Jack has run off and done the wild thing with the neighbor’s dog. It must be puppy love! It’s doubly embarrassing since she’s a professional dog trainer. Of course, the neighbor would have to be hot, hot nightclub owner bad boy Owen McKay, just the kind of man Callie is determined to avoid.

Owen’s comfortable with his playboy status and the hype in the media. But the ground moves beneath his feet when he gets an eyeful of the girl next door. The Dog Whisperer never looked this good! How can he convince this wholesome honey that his player days are behind him? Maybe Jill, his Great Dane can help him with this dilemma now that she’s pregnant and Callie’s dog is to blame.

Is this bad boy a bad bet?

Thoughts
When I noticed this book was free on Amazon, I snatched it right up. I love dogs. They bring such humor to books. This was no different. Jack and Jill were constantly trying to get to each other. Their antics brought an unlikely couple together. Callie had noticed Owen when he first moved in, but he was strictly off limits. No more Bad Boys for her, no way! Owen noticed Callie, but she had the girl-next-door thing going and he knew she wanted commitment, one thing he couldn’t give her, ever.

This book was so fun! I loved it from the beginning. Jack and Jill were two great danes after my heart. I love big dogs and could so relate to their antics and mishaps. This book was very well written and a light, fun book that you can read in one sitting. I will definitely be grabbing book 2.

Series Review – The Vampire Coalition Series by J.S. Scott

Book 1: Ethan’s Mate
Ethan's MateBlurb
Ethan Hale is a vampire with a mission. Together with his three brothers and a few other unmated members, he fights with The Vampire Coalition to protect humans from fallen vampires. His life is fairly simple. If he has a problem…he solves it. If it’s an evil problem…he kills it. But his
uncomplicated life is about to end when his mate unexpectedly calls him to her.

Brianna Cole is weak, her life force fading away. She thinks she is suffering from a rare form of leukemia. Little does she knows that her illness is much more complicated. She’s dying because she has not united with her vampire mate and given him his soul that she has been guarding since birth.

Ethan finds Brianna and knows he needs to convince her to mate or watch her die. He’s waited for her for five hundred years and he has no intention of letting her go, but she is not in any shape for the dominate, volatile mating ceremony with a vampire. He will have to win the race against time to strengthen Brianna and a battle with a stalking fallen to claim his mate. He is also at war with his mating instincts that make him burn to dominate and conquer her. But Ethan is determined, and the stubborn vampire will do whatever is necessary to possess his soul bonded mate…forever.

Thoughts
I haven’t been that into vampire books lately, but I do believe I will be reading this whole series shortly. This book was hot! I love this world and the little quirks involved in it. I can’t wait to read about Rory!

Brianna is dying from a rare form of leukemia, or so she believes. She is really dying because she hasn’t connected with her soul mate and given him his soul. She’s almost 29 and she has til she’s 30 to do this. The only thing, she knows nothing about it.

Ethan has given up ever finding his mate. The oldest vampire to find theirs has been 300 and that just happened a few months ago. Ethan is 500 years old. He lives a very solitary life.

Scott shows all the passion and chemistry here beautifully. I didn’t want to go to sleep last night! I wanted to stay up and read Rory’s Mate!

Book 2: Rory’s Mate
Rory's MateBlurb
Callie Marks never knew that when she had caught the bouquet at her best friend’s wedding…she would also meet her destiny in the same place. Rory Hale was the nicest, sweetest man she had ever met. He was also the most unattainable. Gorgeous, rich and smart, Rory would never be interested in her. He wouldn’t go for a plump, boring woman that was a chef and suffered from the rejections of her past. Who wanted a foundling that had never even known who her parents were? Little did she know…he was very interested. Unfortunately, he was also a vampire who was ruled by destiny in the mating department. His mate would not be his choice.

Rory Hale had liked Callie Marks since he had met her at his brother’s wedding. Although he couldn’t feel desire for anyone except his true mate, he and Callie had a connection. They became cautious friends and he wished he could offer her more. Underneath his confident exterior, Rory had his own insecurities, but Callie seemed to think he was special. His heart said yes…but his body was unresponsive.

Until he touched her and discovered she was his mate!

Rory was battered by mating instincts and his need to possess and dominate Callie . Could Callie ever except who she really was and what it meant to be the mate of a vampire? The guardian of his soul. Rory is determined to convince her…in any way possible!

Thoughts
The second book in the series was just as hot as the first. I loved it! I can’t wait to read more. I wish there would’ve been a clue about Nathan’s mate in the Epilogue like there was with Rory in the first book. Ahh well, I’ll just have to read it now won’t I?

Rory and Callie are perfect for each other. Neither thinks they deserve happiness or are good enough for anyone else. I love how they bring out the best in each other. That is what love is all about!

Book 3: Nathan’s Mate
Nathan's MateBlurb
Jewelry maker Sasha Taylor is from an old and aristocratic line of mages and expected to mate with a mage of the same background to secure a continuing pure line of little magic children. She would probably have complied with the old mage tradition had she not had one tiny problem with the plan. She had the mark of the vampire that she had hidden for years and was slotted to be a mate to one of the savage species of blood drinkers. Mage and vampires did not mix…so she kept the secret to herself and avoided a mating until she meets her mate, Nathan Hale…a vampire that saves her life. Nathan squashes every myth she has ever heard about vampires and she soon finds herself drawn to the very vampire she had fought so hard to avoid.

Nathan Hale never planned on finding his mate. At the age of 600 years, he had thought his time for finding his mate had passed him by. He’s shocked when he rescues Sasha only to find out that she is his chosen mate. Sasha insists that she can’t mate with a vampire, but Nathan knows that she can and she will. Fate chose her for him and he wasn’t about to let her go.

Thoughts
Nathan’s Mate is the third book in the Vampire Coalition Series. It was perfect. It showed prejudice, abuse and healing. Nathan wasn’t about to let anyone take his mate from him, especially her parents.

This book is a beautiful story of sharing and giving and loving. Sasha being a mage, raised to not like vampires didn’t stop Nathan, nothing would. I love that the mating heat hits them as soon as they touch their mate, but they can’t do anything about it until they call them.

Liam Hale is a vampire healer with secrets, secrets that he has kept hidden for hundreds of years from his brothers for their own protection. He’s resigned to his lot in life, to work only for the benefit of his people…until he meets mage healer Regan Taylor. Regan makes Liam want more, much more than a lonely vampire healer can ever possess.

Regan Taylor is Liam’s mate, but she knows she can never reveal the truth to Liam. No matter how much she wants him for her own, mating with Liam would be like signing his death warrant.

Can these two healers that were meant to be together find true happiness when there are so many things keeping them apart?

Thoughts

Liam’s Mate is the fourth book in the series and my favorite so far. I love the fact that Liam hides the effects of killing the fallen from his brother and that only Regan knows. It’s beautiful that she goes through all she goes through to save him, even from himself.

These two, the ones who never thought they would find love, are so perfect and the two who deserve it more than anyone. Liam’s Mate is a beautiful rendition of what love is, all-giving and all-consuming.

Book 5: Daric’s Mate

Daric's MateBlurb
Prince Daric Carvillius is the twelve hundred year old Prince of the Vampire Healers, the most powerful being on earth, and very accustomed to getting his own way in every situation. When one of his healers, Liam, finds his mate after an entire millennium had passed without one healer mating, Daric is hopeful that the Carvillius Curse is finally broken; the results of a mistake he made a thousand years ago finally righted, allowing healers to find their mates. The only vampire healer he doesn’t want to see mated is himself, positive that the last thing he wants is a female he has to protect in addition to babysitting his unruly lot of vampire healers. But Daric has a destiny to fulfill, and his fate crashes into his life, literally, one snowy night in Colorado when he rescues a female human, Hannah Temple, from a blizzard.

Hannah Temple has returned to her small town after eight years in Vail, her ex-boyfriend having dumped her after a tragic accident that has left her unable to ski or even walk without a limp. Still reeling from the sudden loss of her father from a fatal heart attack, she tries to put her life back together after a year of loss and pain. Running the small pizzeria her father had left her, she feels compelled to make a delivery that is probably unwise, but important to keeping the business of Daric Carvillius, the most mysterious and notorious resident in the small mountain town.

Sparks fly when Hannah and Daric meet, and danger lingers in the background from the fallen that are eager to get to the mate of a vampire prince. Can these two lonely, lost souls who were meant to be together actually mate and find a happily ever after?
Find out in the final book of The Vampire Coalition, Daric’s Mate!

Thoughts

Daric’s Mate was a perfect ending to the Vampire Coalition Series. The two loneliest of all together. It was truly a beautiful story. I love when a male wants to fight the inevitable. And then that’s he so damn hot and Alpha. YUMMY!

I think this is tied with the 4th book as my favorite.

Liam’s Mate: Liam Hale is a vampire healer with secrets, secrets that he has kept hidden for hundreds of years from his brothers for their own protection. He’s resigned to his lot in life, to work only for the benefit of his people…until he meets mage healer Regan Taylor. Regan makes Liam want more, much more than a lonely vampire healer can ever possess.

Daric’s Mate: Prince Daric Carvillius is the twelve hundred year old Prince of the Vampire Healers, the most powerful being on earth, and very accustomed to getting his own way in every situation.

Thoughts
An awesome series, definitely one of my favorite vampire series. I love when the stories are short enough you can read one in a single sitting. This had 5 of those. I read the whole series in less than 24 hours. I did sleep after the first one though. J.S. Scott can definitely do vampires!
