It was supposed to be the best day of Erica Dixon’s life, but when she learns that her fiance, Max, isn’t showing up for their long-awaited wedding, she’s devastated. Depressed and unable to move forward, her best friend Callie sets a plan in motion to get her out of her apartment by sending her to a small mountain town for some relaxation. But, what happens on the lake behind her cabin throws her for a loop in more ways than one.

If you like sweet, heartwarming love stories with a bit of humor, you will enjoy Lakeside Love!

This couple’s set up was just a little too easy for me. Erica has been with someone for years and is abandoned at the altar, she goes to a cabin in the woods to get away for a little bit afterwards and meets the love of her life. There was basically no conflict and I don’t think love could come this easy. I did like the storyline, I just wish the author would’ve put in some more conflict, make Erica leave and come back after being miserable, something. I just don’t think that she would be so open to love after ending a long relationship such a short time ago.
