Former party girl, Alisa Turner, made a deal with her daddy, Trey. He’ll provide the seed money for her new business venture as long as she promises to stay out of trouble. Too bad her good intentions tumble 30,000 feet when she meets a sexy stranger on a flight to sin city.
Hotel mogul, Liam Bryson, has never believed in love at first sight, but when a sexy little siren twenty years his junior tempts him into a night of high stakes Blackjack, he’s suddenly playing for keeps.
Alisa wakes up in Liam’s bed the next morning, cursing Tequila and the five carat diamond on her left hand. She demands an annulment before her over-protective father finds out she reneged on their agreement, but her new hubby isn’t prepared to let her go without a fight.
Talk about Love at first sight! This book is a prime example that it’s true and it can work. Even though it takes a teenager to bring the two to their senses.
Alisa can’t mess up. Her dad put his trust in her, she can’t disappoint him again. When she wakes up wearing a wedding ring, lying next to the man she met the day before on the airplane, let’s just say she’s a little disappointed in herself.
Liam swears he’s going to make her see reason and at least try to get their marriage to work. But once they both decide to give it their all, he lets doubts creep in and lashes out. A near-death experience and a good smack upside the head from his teenage daughter make him see reason, but is it too late?
Going into this book I was kinda leery. Alisa shouldn’t have daddy issues, Trey was an awesome father. I just couldn’t see her ending up with someone who was almost 20 years older. Let’s just say, Ms. Douglas got rid of my doubts and made me a believer! Awesome beginning to the start of a new Saga!
