Review – Ruthless (Nashville Nights #3) by Cheryl Douglas

RuthlessBlurb
Marisa Turner has wanted her brother’s best friend, Luc, forever, but she also wants a baby and it seems Luc isn’t up to the challenge. She has to choose between the man she loves and the family she hopes to have. Fortunately, there’s another man waiting in the wings to make her baby fantasy a reality.

Luc Spencer is tired of hearing about marriage and babies. He loves Marisa, but he can’t promise her forever. After two years together, she tells him it’s over. He’s not worried, he believes she’ll be back. But what will happen when he finds out there’s another man waiting to take his place?

Thoughts
Boy I have been looking forward to this book since I read the first book in the series. I wanted to know the back story and see how the hell these two were going to work it out. It was definitely worth the wait. I didn’t know if they would ever get their shit together at the same time or if it was never going to be the right time. I love how they did though. The fact that it was Nikki, was beautiful.

Marisa and Luc are in constant battle. Their chemistry is off the charts, and they are both as stubborn as they come. Once they realize they either put it all on the line or give it up, they finally get their shit together.

I read some of the reviews on this book on Amazon. I always read the bad reviews. I would have to say that I don’t agree with any of them, at all. This book was amazing, a very welcome and worthy addition to the Nashville Nights series. I will definitely be checking out Avery and Ty’s book next.
