Review – Just One Night (Decadence Creek Short Stories #1) by Lexi Ryan

Just One Night by Lexi RyanBlurb
Addison Duval has a secret. A delicious, broad-shouldered, six-foot-three secret with hot eyes, rough hands and a rougher past. Charming, handsome, and off-limits, Chase Montgomery is the only man she’s wanted since her father lured him out of a back alley Louisville chop shop to take a job in their tiny town of Decadence Creek.

After Chase finally takes her up on her old proposition that they spend a night together, will Addison let him risk everything so they can be together more than JUST ONE NIGHT?

Addison ran to Paris to avoid ruining the one she loves life. Her dad threatened to ruin him if she was with him. He was ten years older than her and an ex-con. She went to him the night before she left to offer him one night. He turned her away.

Chase regretted turning Addy away as soon as he found out she left. He feels like he pushed her away. When she comes home for her brother and best friend’s wedding, he’s not wasting the chance. He takes her up on her one night offer and they have a steamy night.

When Chase starts talking about feelings, Addison freaks. Her father will ruin him and he loves her father. She can’t be responsible for that. She tells him she doesn’t return his feelings and he leaves. The next day she’s on her way to Paris when the driver of the car turns around and she sees it’s Chase.

This was a hot as hell short read. I loved how the dad bucked up and admitted to the wronged party what he did and why his daughter was running. I love when true love works out in the end. I will definitely be checking out the other shorts in this series.
