Stella and Alex have been best friends since Stella moved into Spring Towers three years ago. Alex reminded himself time and again Stella was just one of the guys. Until she needs an immediate boyfriend, when her ex shows up engaged to the woman he cheated on her with. He gladly steps in and hopes Stella will feel the sparks between them. Can their friendship survive their roles?
Stella has been through hell, from her emotionally and physically abusive mother to catching her ex-boyfriend Kevin cheating with her ex-best friend Heidi. She still came out on top. She only hears from her mother when she needs money and she has no intentions to see Kevin or Heidi every again. She goes into work on Sunday, just to catch up on things and everything comes crashing in on her. Kevin and Heidi are getting married and they want her to do their photos.
Alex has had an easy life. He gets whatever he wants. Well, everything except for being more than friends with Stella. He’s too scared of losing her friendship is she doesn’t feel the same way. Then one night, he gets all these vibes from her and can’t understand… does she really feel the same way or was it the alcohol she drank talking?
Well, they get it all figured out thanks to some help from meddling best friends and sisters. They are the happiest they’ve ever been and can’t imagine what they would do without each other. Then, Alex misconstrues a situation and blows it big time. Will Stella ever forgive him for not trusting her?
Stella is my kind of heroine! I loved her. Her enthusiasm for the Predators had me cracking up. I loved Alex too. He made a mistake, I’m just glad Stella was big enough to accept his apology finally. He did do it right too.
I can’t wait to see what happens with Lindsay and Kyle. They seem perfect for each other and I want to know what the hell Lindsay is running from. I will definitely be reading Let Me Love You (book 2 in the Spring Towers series) next.
